Not long had a new clutch, plus new m/cyl. Maybe 3.5K ago.
Can you elaborate on the seal issue?

I am surprised, the seals on the slave cylinder seep and allow a leak of clutch fluid, check your level and see if you have lost any, the first sign on my Tuscan was the difficulty in engaging 5th then when the car got hot hard to get any gears, if you had the work done at a dealer i would speak to them in the morning IMO

Tony - just had a look. Level is full, in fact safely above the famed 'plastic seam' on the reservoir (behind the pedal plate). I have similar behaviour to the other chap's Tam - a slower change yields a less notchy shift.
What you say makes sense mechanically, sure. Just didn't think I was anywhere near that point on my vehicle. Weird. I'll track it - it doesn't seem to be getting worse at any detectable rate (like it since I got the car really). Ta muchly for the advice.

Mine is 12mths old, 4.5k miles... its been happening since I got it. Ummmmm
I had a problem with gear selection on my Sagaris from new. Never felt happy with fast chnages, and reverse was always a pain to engage - more so than normal!
Did a track day and on the way home selection became near impossible -fluid I thought. Off to dealers on flat bed and back three days later, better than ever.
I was advised the clutch plate clearance required adjustment.
Daftlad, Its interesting that you experienced a difficulty in engaging reverse gear.
My 350 is very difficult in selecting this gear. All forward gears are silky smooth, but reverse is very hard to select, sometimes you can select it straight away, but 8 times out of 10 it is hard work.
I find that if i wait say 20 seconds coming from a forward gear to selecting reverse it selects better, but if i go straight from forward to reverse you can amost feel the gears still spinning through the gear stick.
What you thing!
Cheers Paul

This is interesting .... I had real problems getting my T350 into gear after a long drive (and therefore v. hot). I had to start it in gear and it crept forward. But then when I drove away I could happily go up and down the gears. Fine when it's cold. Fluid level okay and I have only got 7K on the clock. Any thoughts on this one?!
