At last after a wait of 14 months I have my car. Collected it yesterday from MV (cheers Terry you're a star!!) and drove it Norf today trying very very hard to keep below the 3000 rev limit

It is awesome. Words really do fail me!!!

Thanks to all of the regulars for all their help and advice over the last year while I've been waiting, I look forward to meeting you all later this month, at least those who are going!! thumbup

So, how many times have you been back out to the garage to check on her so far!? I think I was going out just for another look about every hour for the first week!

Looking forward to it a lot beer. It seems like forever I've been talking with people I've not met type. Very strange!! Will have had its 1000 mile by then so will at least be able to increase the revs slightly . I managed 29.8mpg on the run home from the south, is that good or not???

29.8!!

On Saturday, I did 40 litres of SUL in about 2 hours! (circa 8 mpg) And a most brilliant 2 hours they were too!

(well they were after I borrowed a torque wrench and did up my offside rear wheel nuts that were all at about 70 ftlb!!!! )
