Probably about time i got myself a set of wheels just for the track. Loads of discussion on here about tyres, but not much on wheels. I want to get toyo r888s fitted. Anybody got a view (at teh cheaper end of the market) on direct fit wheels for a MKII?

thanks

Or perhaps BBS Racing (similar pattern). With gold centres of course.

Though I'm not sure if even the alu ones are road approved.

I think they're rather expensive too.

Or just get some OEM ones off ebay etc. The BBS ones look great but also look like a right pain to clean, and they aren't all that cheap...

I would never buy second hand wheels to use on the race track

What do you do if you buy a 2nd hand car? Do you buy new wheels to use it on the track?

Not to mention the number of posts on this forum halfing as you wouldn't need to keep pimping your car
