Fun on the M23

Followed a reddish brown Tuscan on the M23 this afternoon who overtook and flashed me. I followed for a few miles and surprisingly managed to pretty much keep up (and we were accelerating very quickly). I daresay that if the road had remained clear then I would have been left behind but I was still pretty pleased with my RV8 beast.

Also had a Jag XKR up on my bumper but when the road cleared he couldn't stay with me. Needless to say all this fun was kept to sensible speeds (your honour)!

Still great fun even with the roof on!

Perfectly normal in the old V8S imhe only a 'very well' tuscan can leave you even then it'll be well post three digit units. Get on the twisties and unless the owner is a very brave man he'd struggle to keep up with you .

Hi Harry.

Good to hear from you. Yes I never doubted it was quick just didn't realise it quick enough to keep up with the more modern Tivs.

Have you got your ludicrously modified Cerbera on the road yet? If so how does it compare? Is the fun factor similar or is it just plain terrifying?

Be good to meet up over the winter sometime, maybe on a Sussex / Hants meet.

Long story, pistons have been back three times to Germany now getting a bit frustrated, so no I haven't got it yet .
Glad you are still enjoying the S, I maintain that the V8S is the true performance bargain and most underrated Tiv out there. Keep waving the flag .

always nice to know the car keeps up with the newer stuff I must say since I had my engine rebuilt I have no problems keeping up with a Tuscan/Cerb in normal fast road driving like Harry says its not until over 100 mph that the S starts to slow down a little. Ask 'billynomates' and 'Fubar' they are always complaining that they cant shake me off their tail...
