2.5 Original ECU

The original (can't remember what the make is) was said to be un mapable, is this still the case.

I remember that 'Gadge' mentioned to me at the Jan Owners day that he new somone who can do it (Ray at West tuning I think).

Is this a deffo and has anyone tried it.

yes - the original ecu is remappable

however - if you are going to the trouble to remap it, you might be better off going for an aftermarket ecu like an Autronic/Motec/Omex and get better results

Will do nearer the time (next year) just thinking about the expence. Doesn't any new ECU require new wiring.

I'm only going to change fule pump, oil catcher and IC, the map was just for running higher octane fule and add a little power (smooth it all out to take pressure from gear box) not looking for mad power as one day I will change to 3R.
