Dect phone compatibility

Will a BT dect slave phone work with a panasonic base/answer phone?

We bought some BT phones which are ok-ish but the answer phone is the biggest pile I've ever come across. If I buy a panasonic dect main phone will the old BT slave work with it?

Look to see if they are GAP compatable. This will allow you to register different handsets to different bases
