Boxster lights???

Can anyone help. We have a porsche boxster, 1997, 2.5. I am looking for lights that go in to the electric/pop up spoiler at the back. I believe they do them, I have seen one that said 'Porsche'. Am I wrong? what do you call the pop up thingy anyway and if you can get them does anyone know where from.... its a present for hubby. Excuse my ignorance but yes, you've guessed it, i'm female!!! I drive fast but my mechanical knowledge is very slow.

It's called the 'spoiler'. I have never heard of lights that can be fitted into the rear spolier on a Boxster, but a few people have made their own stickers...

I did a quick search on spoiler lights and found this - but was not surprised to see that they don't do them for Porsches...

If you want to buy something for your husbands '97 Boxster, he might like some new carpets or if the budget is bigger, some clear (instead of amber) lights as these will help make the car look younger without it looking tacky!

We have an 02 Boxster S and ours has had its lights upgraded to the clear type, I have also changed the 3rd brake light to clear from red as the later models are all clear... I find Ebay a good source but beware there is allot of rubbish out there...

I have found quite a few parts on ebay, but I would agree you have to be careful alot of the parts are not quite what they seem (i.e. very used). Ask for more details before you bid.
