I keep coming back to this after changing my car's colour after years of having black cars. It can't be beaten if you put the effort in:

I've had lots of black cars but in the end it depressed me to find new stone chips every single time I washed them

You're not wrong, black is the best colour for any car, BUT it is a pain to keep it looking pristine. Not a problem if your black car isn't your everyday driver.

Silver's usually pretty easy to keep clean, or at least it hides the dirt well. I guess the best compromise is a decent grey. Tungsten grey is nice, Mineral grey is better!

And for the third time :drumroll: one of Twin Turbo's favourite Mustang piccie

Funnily enough. One of the reasons I went with Mineral Grey on my car in the end was that it is an excellent colour for hiding the dirt. It's a very "earthy" colour, so dust and water splashes are masked very well. It helps the car look cleaner for longer!

In some lights, Mineral grey is also pretty close to "Eleanor" grey lick

My first new car was jet black. I spent hours keeping it spotless, but then I was 18 and had nothing better to do. I really could be bothered now.

Anyway, I almost agree with the black being the most sexy. Except I saw a car colour once which was far sexier. It was a new 355 in an ultra deep blue / black. The light caught it in a way which gave it so much more depth and interest than plain black. It must have been zymoled to perfection.

For me I adore natural metal colour now; titanium, steel grey, gun metal, carbon. So Elanor ticks all the right boxes for me. lick
