Want to take some in-car video footage at some point, got a lightweight camcorder but wondering what people use to mount the thing ?? I assume there must be some specialist mounts to screw onto rollbars or stick to windscreens ?? Anybody point me in the right direction of any retailers ?? Also I wanted to mount the camera in the front of the car at near road level, I have enough space but was worried about it get smashed from stones, etc. I've heard about these 'bullet' lenses but don't know how they work ?? Can anyone enlighten me or again point me in the right direction ??

Regards,

Simon.

Easy answer, most will agree I think.

Camera Suction Mounts from B-Haugue

Fast Films has just about everything you could want for in-car video. The bullet cams are great (go for the hi-res ones) as you can put them anywhere. They're virutally indestructable (trust me). Definitely worth ordering some spare glasses for them (at £1 a throw) then if a stone should wallop it you can just change them over and carry on.

Make sure you have a recording camera with a LanC connection (a remote control for the bullet camera) as they are a godsend. PH member Fishy Dave runs the company and can probably anwser your questions better than anybody.

I'd Agree with Shadytree - the Hague Mount is the business.
