Can anybody tell me the 'donor' source of the following parts for a 1990 400SE?

Seatbelts.
Switch-gear (Headlamp switch)
Windscreen.

Thanks in advance.

400SE with the Ford Granada steering column? This will have the headlamps on the steering column and is n't TR7.

Switches are mostly Ford Sierra. The seatbelts could be as well.

My 91 400se has an escort steering column and what would appear to be TR7 consol switches. (including the headlight one)
Cannot see anything remotely sierra like on it though!

My 450 SE has BL switch gear in the centre console nothing as sophisticated as steering column mounted light switches here my dears. Mind you though tend not to go out at night much, cos the lights don't work anyway. You get better illumination from an ignited fart (that my friends is the result of a college education).

FYI,I spent quite a while scouring Breakers yards trying to identify where bits of my TVR came from.
I spoke to the company who made the seatbelts(written on the orange label) and managed to speak to a guy who traced the part number and said that he could not find the reference,so he assumed it was an old code before the company relocated.
To sum it up,you wont get them new! however there are a couple of companies who will make up seat belts to order around(check classic car mags). My seatbelts worked fine after i aligned the belt path with the reel mechanism(it takes a strange route around a bit of chassis tube)
The centre console switches aren't TR7. they're the same size (and will fit,Cos i've got one as a fan overide switch where the aircon blank used to be)and made by lucas, but have a ribbed pattern on the switch and obsolete according to lucas.I managed to get the lucas electrical catalogue and saw the switches in there. they were also used in the Lotus's of the time according to the Cat.
I recognised that the Seat belt-Buckles were ford pattern, and measured up a C reg Ford granada in the Breakers. the front belts on the Granada are almost identical about 2" longer overall with the same Buckle.the attachment bracket to the sill differs only in that it does not have a slight angle bent into it to clear the wilton!
My '88 390 Series 2 has the Rover SD1 column assembly which comes with headight switch on the left side (still available from lucas as are the indicator switches).
Hope this helps

Thanks to all - you have certainly given me more than I expected in terms of start points.

What a pity that TVR do not publish this information!!

The reason is that these cars were real bitsas and often varied from car to car. I know of seven different brake master cylinders that have been used and this changed from day to day.
