Is it worth getting this wedge?

Haven't advertised it yet.Nice bit of wood holding the bonet open. If this was my wedge, I'd have replaced the bonet stay. Maybe the engine has been ignored / not had any work on it?
Why in the photos does it have bits of wood in front of the wheels? Does the handbrake not work and not been fixed?
Radio not fitted properly, windscreen starting to go milkey...
I don't know the car and can't comment on this particular one. It could be a great car.

Personally I'd go for a 400se as I prefer the shape but as many people have said before, Buy on condition, instinct and the best you can afford. You can tell if the car is right for you when you see it.
There are a few excellent wedges around at the moment. Mines for sale, Blanes is for sale and I see Wyn (PWD95) is thinking of selling. 3 great wedges (and Wyns is a fire breathing monster - I know cause I used to own it)
All in all, I think this ones the best though:

car doesnt make a good impression on the pictures, but you are free to ask the owner certain questions and further pictures...espc. from chassis!! if you get excuses like: i dont have any ramps, my neighbour took the pictures, i lented the camera from work you know what you can expect....and don´t buy it without seen a few chassis-pictures....unless the price is only 2800,-

Yes on second thoughts maybe I should stay well away. I like the idea of a nice 390. only 100 or so made, Flapper, Cracker, wild looks, Perfect
All I can suggest is look at 2 or 3 as a minumin first (the more the better)

@craggers: how was the chassis treated? hopefully not such black underseal thing.
for me the chassis is only good if it shows 100% of its powder coating. if not..i would keep the fingers away. have seen too many cars where the owners said the chassis is good or excellent and the reality showed nice "brown" chassis tubes....lol....
