I still haven't got around to building the garage so I could do with a cover for the car. Has anybody got a cover that they would recommend?

I bought a Tyvek one from Halfords for the S (for when I'm visiting friends and it has to be outside)...

... made by Dupont, wasn't overley expensive (£50 in the sale, about £70 normally) comes with bungee rope to keep in on in the winds... waterproof.. anti-mould... breathable... pretty good actually.

Elasticated to keep it snug... pretty strong and comes with a carry bag.

For the Landie? Try Thoroubred covers in Leeds, I got a really nice breathable cover for the other halves Dolly Spint for about £200.

For the Boxster. Don't bother, they're galvanised

the Chimaera spent the winter under a classic additions car cover; about £70 from memory, elasticated, 100% waterproof, and lockable (steel wire loop and padlock).. no complaints

Argos outdoor car cover - £19.99
12 metres of fleece fabric and a couple of bungees from the market - £20.
Cover the car with the fleece fabric (stops the car cover seams chafing the paintwork), put the cover over, secure with the bungees to stop it blowing off.

Job done, lots of money left over for beer

www.covercraft-europe.com/car.html This one looks after my Chimaera and seems to be holding together very well despite the gales over the winter. It dries very quickly and has been in the washer a couple of times too.
