Just came back from the Swiss British Car meeting in Morges (www.british-cars.ch/). Wonderful event rassembling more than a thousand British cars forming a fascinating blend of glorious (Astons DBs/Vanquish, C and E-Types, pre-war Bentleys..) and pathetic (disintegrating Allegro). Among the 5 TVR present was a Swiss registered LHD purple with green interior Tuscan Speed Six converted, I guess, by the Swiss importer TGE Automobiles. It attracted a lot of attention (the colour scheme was not that popular though). The conversion looked so well executed that you just could not tell that it had not left the Blackpool works in this guise.

They have made three LHD Tuscans at the moment and are working on the 4th. TVR Engineering are also doing work to develop a LHD Tuscan as well.

LHD Tuscans will be available from December 2001 on, as I am told by my dealer in Belgium. He said also that they have stopped production for a week to develop the new mouldings for the LHD car. The cars as seen in Switzerland are all LHD conversions done by the Swiss importer.
