pipe into rear of near side air box

What is this for and what symptoms could I expect if it suddenly popped out due to being fixed with a small blob of silicon?

I luv my CERB, but I sometimes wonder in disbelief at just how crap some parts of it really are - yeah I know, supercar power for a tenth of the price and all that, but...oh never mind.

The pipe in question gives a pressure reading to the ECU or so I'm led to believe. My fitting at the airbox is also us. One of those little jobs I still haven't got round to doing. Mines been off for 6 months with no noticable effects.

Likewise mine fell apart. i just drileld a slightly larger hole and poked the tube into the airbox. it seems to work just fine.

Mine never had this hole in the airbox for the pipe to fit into, until it went to APM and Andy obviously noticed this and kindly made the said modification.

I noticed no difference in the cars performance and didn't spot the change until months later.

My pipe to the airbox broke also. No noticeable side effects running with it off for months. But for good order I fixed it recently by buying a small washer pipe nozzle from Halfords and gluing through from the inside of the airbox. Once dry, the hose pushed on snugly. Nice little job.
