I need to get 2 new door mirrors for Tigger. the drivers side is electric, whilst the passenger side isn't. They are both odd ones at the moment and neither works properly, so what model car do I need to get them off? I would like to retain the electric option on the drivers side, but could I still get a matching pair?

Speak to Phil at PR Wood Motorbodies. Tel:01702 337735.
He imports the electric mirrors from Turkey (Citroen CX). I got mine from him. Knocks them out at about £100.00 You will then have to get it sprayed
Hope this helps

I don't think the Citroen mirrors (curved body with a 'ribbed' section) were used on the S2 (but I'm quite happy to stand corrected if necessary). If I remember correctly, I think the other style of electric mirror that was used for the S (oblong with a flat back) was from from a Ford, possibly a Capri.

If you could post a pic of the mirrors, that would probably help to indentify them.

Thanks guys

I've got both a Citroen and a Ford spares and breakers close by so I'll take a look there. The drivers side certainly looks Ford in style. Did think about getting a couple of chrome ones, early MGB style, if I couldn't source some decent looking plastic ones.
