Service shedules for Sp 6

Hi,
With regard to the Speed 6 engine do any of you know what's involved with the 10OO MILE SERVICE,Being a sp6 VIRGIN I'm not sure .

Actually any SP6 service shedules would be good.

I think TVR Power's website lists the items. Otherwise, some of the other dealers do.

12k is the biggie where they do the diff/gearbox/brake/clutch oil and reset the tappets if needed (which they will be).

Not all main dealers adhere to the 1000 mile service schedule as laid down by TVR. It may be because of the cost of doing so (?)

Yep - I believe there is some variation due to the number of valves that need to be reshimmed (0-24), plus normal dealer-dealer delta. Mine would have been ~£1200 if it were not for a failed coil.

1000 mile service should be free labour just cost of oil. It's really just an oil change and visual checks.

Cant imagine a main dealer can do 12k service plus tappet adjustment for £560. Bargain if its correct. Who was it with and what exactly did they do for this
