Sebro vs. Zimmerman disks...
Discussion
Is anyone on here using either of these brands? I was about to order some replacement disks for a Boxster 2.7 and had heard of Zimmermann but not Sebro?
I also believe that the OEM Porsche disks were made by Zimmermann (although I would expect that Porsche use more than one supplier from time to time for parts like these to keep their suppliers on their toes...).
As I understand it, the only difference between the Zimmermann and the Porsche disks used to be that the Porsche ones were painted (in the middle) which looks better as it helps to keep corrosion at bay.
Are the Sebro ones painted? Has anyone painted these parts themselves? What did you use?
Cheers!

I think I'll give the Sebro ones a try. I like the fact that they come pre-painted and the supplier I was considering using only appears to do drilled Zimmermans and I want to keep the original look.
Hopefully the Sebro problems were a one-off as I have found any other bad experiences with them and quite a few
good ones.
Cheers!
