A Friend needs to replace his number plate lights, does anyone know what they are off?

I don't know which car they're off, but there are two different types: backlit and sloping plate. TVR Parts or a dealer will be as good a place to go as any.

TVR-Parts number is M0243-but I do not know where it originally comes from.

If your friend has back-lit lamps, then he should access and replace the bulbs by peeling away the carpet at the rear of the boot.

They SHOULD NOT try to remove the lamp covers externally (by cutting away the sealant) as the Lucas bulb holder will snap if pulled up whilst the wiring's in place.

the lights are not the back light type. He had the rear painted to get rid of some scratches and the lights have been lost. Tried a couple of TVR dealers without any luck. Would like to track down what they were originally off.
