Picked up the 4.3 '92 Griff in Rosso Red on Saturday - WoW! What a mota!

And what a weekend to pick it up - sun sun & sun!!

I'll post piccies once I have some!

Meanwhile, here are 2 little questions....

1. It has Oz wheels - they need a little bit of work - not sure whether they will clean up or need refurb. What is the best cleaner to try on them (and where do I get it from), or anyone know how much for a refurb jobby?

2. Anyone got a 4.3 owner's handbook? Can swop for a 5.0 handbook!

Thanks!

DaveM

PS Watch out for the write up in Morgan's Mutterings in a couple of months time - I'm Morgan (sorry, but it has to be someone!!)

Well done Mate. Thought u use to have a chimeara?? your profile shows an S.

As for wheels i use Autoglyms Metal Polish which normally brings them up quite nice, but maybe a tad rough.

Thanks for the replies chaps! BB- I looked at a Chim, but didn't buy it, then I fell for the Griff - and did!! How's your repair job coming along?

Nice car to buy, and on a day like this, I sit in my office looking out the window wishing I was driving.

Have fun.

oh, and take a look at www.meguiers.co.uk there cleaning stuff is great.

if the little bolts have gone rusty on the wheels (48 on each wheel!) they will need to come out. however trying to find a socket that fits is virtually impossible. i have been looking with no sucess for the last 18 months - if you find one or know anyone who can lend me one then let me know.
by the way - 4.3 pre cat - awsome sound, loads of useable revs, love it - don't ever want to sell mine but might have to soon!
