Has anyone watched the Sat Nav report on this mornings Sky News?

There's a clip of one road which was flooded and motorists were complaining that the sat nav took them into it and they ended up stranded. Apparently it happened so often that locals were charging to help pull out stranded cars.
Call me stupid, but if I can see a piece of flooded road in front of me I wouldn't drive into it no matter what some electronic gizmo was telling me. I can imagine the drivers involved were probably watching the speedo religiously and not the road!
