TED MODS PLEASE CAN YOU STICKY THIS

This is not a joke guys so please only serious replies.
Spent the last couple of weeks in Nassau on holiday and while I was there discovered my mate there had got his hands on a yellow 350i wedge.
It is one of 2 cars that were sent out there after being ordered by a couple of Cuban drug runners who wanted something quick to get around the island. Before the cars arrived though the runners got caught by the DEA so the 2 Tivs sat around for some time before getting sold and now my friend has one.
Unfortunately it is not running at the moment as it needs some TLC ,some chassis rusting needs sorting and a little interior work which my friend cannot do himself nor anyone else on the island for that matter.
I suggested I ask on pistonheads for some advice to which he replied, good idea but if I can find someone who can carry out the work he will pay for the flight and put them up in his house for a couple of weeks.
So guys if there are any TVR employees or specialists that fancy a free holiday in the sun this winter while woking on a Tiv with a graet bit of history please post here or PM me.

I repeat this is a serious offer so only serious replies.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Please do, I'd be interested to know this. Some cars were only allowed there if they were narrowed ie TR7's.

Surely not that simple though. There will be logistical issues such as availability of tools and equipment and what if new parts are required ?
Keep us informed of progress.

I agree, I'd have thought it would be cheaper & a quicker to ship it back over here.

Or scrap it, get one out of classifieds & use the old one for spares.

Not when they have an import tax 0f 50% it isn´t.
As far as I know it´s not major work that needs doing, he just needs someone who knows what they are doing.
A dealer in Scotland said they would go and do the work but they never turned up.
