Just got one through the post.

Can either have:

997 2S (Manual)
997 4S (tiptronic)
997 4S Cabriolet (Manual)

It'd be rude not to take them up on the offer so thinks I'll be having a 2S for the day.

Not sure to be honest.

We bought a new Boxster S last November, however this is in the wife's name, yet the invite for the test drive is in mine confused

Maybe they've seen her drive hehe

Not member of anything.

I suspect its because I called the dealer to tell them we were interested in the Boxster. So I was their initial contact.

Still. I'd have thought it would have been the wife who got the invite (not that I'm complaining).

I got my invite in the post on Friday! It comes from the OPC's marketing dept.

I get my '99 996 C4 serviced/warranty work done by 'West London' and a week ago asked whether I could have a 997 as a courtesy car (instead of a Cayenne), as I was thinking about buying one soon (NOT true).

The service advisor said they couldn't give me one as a courtesy car, but he'd put me on the 'list' for the 24hr test drives. Voila!

I'm gonna go for a nice Carrera S tip!
