Old PC in my son's room has a single 128Mb SDRAM memory module (PC133); motherboard (Fujitsu Siemens) has two slots. I'm figuring that a memory upgrade will make a significant difference to the v poor performance (processor is 1300 MHz).

Can I add a 256Mb module ? .... or do I have to fit another 128Mb (or 2 x 256Mb) so I have a matching pair ?

But if you are running XP you really need a miniumum of 512MB - PC133's are dirt cheap now a couple of these would do the trick at about £20 each inc vat
