Just to complete the picture:
The factory 18" wheels are 8.5x18 front and rear, and the latest (preferred) tyre specs are 235/40 front and 245/40 rear. 8 or 8.5 x 18 front and 8.5 or 9x18 rear would be the specs you'd look for but which offset you go for and which tyres you choose can be a factor in the spec you finally settle on. Not many people offer wheels that are right for the car (plenty will offer you wheels that "fit", but aren't "right" for the car. The specs we went for (SP12 wheels) provide better steering characteristics (less twitchy) and the option to go up to 265 or even 275 rear tyres. The rest of the features/ benefits have been discussed many times...
