Looking for another Chimaera or Griffith at the moment. I looked at a Griffith which had some paint crazing on the bonnet. Would the only solution to respray, or can it be improved in any way? Also does it tend to be the glassfibre, lacquer or the basecoat that crazes... I was wondering if it could just be flatted back and relacquered?
Cheers guys...

I concur. Crazing of the paint *probably* points to a fibreglass problem underneath. Expensive.
I don't know what you can do to delay it- there might be some way of getting behind the area and painting on some resin.
It's also worth looking at the cause. It may be caused by a one-off knock, or some underlying problem- an extreme example could be the chassis twisting.
The fibreglass isn't structural, but it is about the only thing between you and the tree you may crash into so it's worth making sure it's not spread over a large area.
