Forgive my naivety but surely its not that difficult to port them across?

No idea.. it isn't as difficult as starting from scratch but i'd imagine it is still a bit tricky..

All the GT Legends cars are being converted to GTR2 so it's not impossible to do - www.no-grip.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4525 . Plus there's another guy who's been doing his own scratch built models here for rFactor, including cars not available on GTL like the Ferrari 250GTO and Alfa Romeo TZ2.
