Bit of help needed

Does anyone know which fuse relates to the car hi-fi please?

It's the only page in the handbook that I don't have with me at the moment and it's the one that lists all of the fuses and what they are for.

Acording to my book it's number 7. 10amp fuse. does gauges,mirrors,radio & dim dip. hope this helps

Cheers Ross, all the other bits work fine, mirrors etc, just seems to be no power at the head unit, more investigation then.

Have you checked to see if there is an in line fuse behind the stereo?

Mmmm........I've changed the the 10Amp fuse but not made a difference, I've then taken the head unit out of the cubby hole and replaced the fuse there, but again still no power at all. It's cold and I can't be bothered to check any further today so it will have to wait until tomorrow evening.

Jules, I had somethinmg similar a couple of months back. Turned out that the live feed had come off the battery terminal. Just a thought?

On my 97 4.2 it's fuse 7 but 15A, boot lock, passenger door lock & radio.
It was fun when it blew as I couldn't open the boot.
