Moving abroad, can I remain a UK MD?

More theoretical questions. If i'm resident abroad, can I remain an MD of a UK company?

Can't see why not. MD is not a legal position (although the general term "Director" is). Ordinary directors don't HAVE to be resident in the UK - at least as far as small companies are concerned.
