Re: 456 GT Estate

It is the ex-property of the Sultan of Brunei, actually his brother Jefri who had hundreds of Bentley - Rolls-Royce - Ferrari - Aston Martin and assorted specials built at great expense.

The Sultan's 456s were made as a) 4-door saloons b) roadster c) 5-dr estate under Project Venice.

One of the motoryachts was called Tits, and the speedboats Nipple One and Two.

Such was his extravagance that the Sultan fell out with Prince Jefri and imposed draconian spending limits on him. After all, Brunei is a Islamic country....

I would love to go and view the whole collection in Brunei, but so far I have seen a few cars photographed such as Bentley Dominator 4x4, Bentley Le Mans, and Aston Martin Vantage s/c. I am sure we will be astounded when we see the extent of the collection.

There's an underground garage on Sloane Street you can see into from street level - I noticed an old Bentley Turbo Estate in there yesterday. Probably also an ex-Sultan one off. Pretty ugly thing it was too!

Interesting article in FHM this month about the Brunei boys and their toys.

I saw that very same car a couple of weeks ago at the bottom of Campden Hill Road, turning onto Kensington High Street. Must be a local car for local people
