Nasty metallic scraping noise - what is it ?
Discussion
Got my car back from it's OPC service on Friday night, go out in it yesterday and there is a nasty metallic scraping noise coming from the passenger side rear wheel. Sounds like they didn't tighten something properly when they put the car back together again!!
I'm not technically minded at all but I wonder what it could be ? They did a brake fluid change at the same time so maybe it was something when they did that ? The only thing I could spot was that the metal plate directly behind the brake disc seems a bit loose ? Would this come off when they change brake fluid or do a minor service and not put back properly.
I want to make sure they don't charge me if it was their fault !!
Any ideas?

Plate behind disc is not removed to do a fluid change or a minor service. It is pretty flimsy though and can get bent by a ham fisted technician. If so then it might foul the disc and make the scraping sound. I suspect that this wouldn't be the cause though.
