I'm looking at a decent job that needs me to be computer literate(check), hold a full UK driving licence(check) and to be prepared to become an authorised user of force vehicles(?). I'm thinking the word "force" is pertaining to the Police Force. Am I right or am I serverely confused?

Don't wish to build your hopes up but....

I know a bloke who got a job in a Derbyshire local nick back after he had been made redundant.

1) had to be computer literate. check.... just hehe
2) had to have full clean driving licence. check
3) prepared to be user of Force vehicles. check keen as mustard

He fills them up with fuel, washes them down, checks lights tyres fluids etc, and reports findings, fuel used, mileage etc on the computer. Check and mate!

It depends where the job is:

If it has something to do with the police Force then I guess that would be police vehicles of some sort.

If you are applying for a placement in the Rebel Alliance it could be any amount of small and medium class starfighters.

Does your name mean you have previous experience? If you have I would check out what Boba Fett drives. Its probably one of them.

I think that job is for driving a NAAFI van in Basra. The computer literacy refers to the electronic cash till.

Having been interviewed for a IT position in the Police I was informed that to use the Pool car you had to pass a "basic" test to prove your competence. After all if you are involved in an accident the vehcle is still a Police Vehicle.
