Any miss marples out there!

Just had a weekend of tinkering with my chim....changed to clear front indicators (removing most of my arm tattoos in the process)...put super dooper new front bulbs in but i couldnt change the side lights as the wrong ones were supplied by the 12 year old SIDE SHOW BOB look a like (The simpsons, for the older ones) serving me in halfords.
My question is are capped side light bulbs straight or offset pins?

I thought the only lamps with offset pins were the dual filament (5W/21W) lamps, to stop them being put in the wrong way round. I can't see a reason for having a single filament lamp in such a configuration.
