Should I replace heater hoses?

Just prepping for replacing the engine, and I wondered about the heater hoses. Nothing visibly wrong with them, but they are 11 years old now, and while the engine is out I wondered if it was worthwhile replacing them. I don't relish poking around in the footwell though!

Opinions welcomed.

If theres nothing wrong with them i'd leave it,absolute bastard of a job pulling the hoses off heater end.

Mmm, yes, I did poke my head under the dash but when I couldn't even see the ends, I thought that might be an issue!
