Can't get a 360 in the garage at home.
Haven't purchased yet, so not a major problem.
Do any PHers keep their cars out side all year round? If so, what is the worth of an outdoor cover?

Are you sure? Have you measured it? What size is the garage door opening? You'll be surpised where you can fir it. It's only 8" wide than a Mondeo.

It's not so much the width of the opening (which is a fairly standard 7'6" but the reduction in width inside, due to some brick piers that were built to hold up an extension above.

That's the reason I haven't bought an Enzo. Just won't fit in my garage. hehe

I have to line my car up, get out and then push it in!

I don't think you have to worry about the weather, rather local scrotes who might vandalise/steal it.

If you work in the day people might cotton on that it is habitually left outside unattended and steal to order etc. That was my worry with my car as it is quite rare (DMC12) rather than valuable in a monetary sense.

my car wouldn't fit into my garage, garage is a double width double depth but had 2x 7' doors with a brick post inbetween.. Car width 7'2" , d'oh

Left the car outside, out of site behind my house but it really didn't like it - the electronics/relays on the doors kept opening and closing

Jonny5 says it's 7'2" in the post above yours.

I no reason to doubt him, as i don't know any better myself.

There are a few people who live near me who leave their Ferrari's outside all the time. One is a 355 GTB and the other is a 360 Spider. My Lotus has got to be worse for leavin outside than a ferrari

Used to keep mine outdoors but off the road all the time, purchased an outdoor cover custom fit for the 360, can't remember off the top of my head but I think it was a CoverCraft item, roughly 200-300 quid but well worth it and very durable.

Used to be very careful with not getting any dirt or grit on the inside but it kept the car in good condition in all types of weather.

Something half-wit planning inspectors fail to understand, even after sending photos of double doors on (the only) other double garages in my street and explaining the scratching/fit problem of having two doors, he still refused it. Avoid South Cambs if you need inspectors with double digit IQs...

Although that says overall width it excludes the door mirrors. My garage door opening is 210 cm and my 360 will only fit through with one mirror pulled in.

Thought he might be talking about the Lambo as 7' 2" is very wide.

So a 360 should fit into a standard 7' wide garage door? Have the same problem with 2 x 7' doors and 1 brick pillar in the middle.

It's funny you mention this Nobby. My trip to the south of france was almost postponed, as in the last minute, the train operator called to say the 360 is one of the few cars that will not fit on the train ! Ended up on a 36 hour ferry.

I bought an indoor cover from the dealer at £270 + vat with the logo. The outdoor ones were plain and around £320. Quite a few retailers stock them.
