I have today had four new Michelin Pilots, N rated, fitted onto the car. £300 fitted, inc VAT, balancing etc etc. The cheapest quote I got was £438, but then a neighbour said he'd got his Mercedes tyres from Costco. If you buy four tyres off them (I think before 20th November) they give you 20% off. Worth a look.

good one, that's great. I really need to go and get my Costco card sorted. Had no idea they did things like tyres.

My understanding is that you only have to buy them, you don't have to have them fitted, so worth buying and putting in the garage if you don't need new ones yet. My Pirellis actually needed replacing.

That's superb. I paid 500 notes recently to get Mich pilots on all four corners of my 993.

Must get my costco card sorted.

They just quoted me 2*206 + 2*134 for N-rated Pilot Sport 2s, R18. Why the discrepancy?

Ahhhhh...I thought £290 seemed remarkably cheap.

Bracknell Tyre and Battery are close to junction 10 of the M4 - not sure if that is any closer for you from Glos.

Just had service and told I will be needed all four tyres in next 2000 miles.
I have a 996 TT, which has the Assemetric Pirelli's on.
295 at rear, 255? at front I think.
Last time had em changed was nearly 700 for 2 rears, but looks like I could save a lot of cash ..... any suggestions?

www.Blackcircles.com and www.mytyres.co.uk are probably the places to start looking
