Hi,
I was lucky enough to pick up a Red Rose upgrade ECU chip for a Cerbera 4.5- which is the TVR I want.
However, I am still driving my Skyline at the mo, so no TVR for a while yet (just set up a new business so it may be a while!). I was attracted to the chip because its commonplace with Nissans to upgrade ECU chips, so its known territory for me!
I would love it if some honest soul from this forum would be willing to try the chip out for me to see if it works!!

I think you'll find a people have posted comments on here for the RR chip. Basically its supposed to smooth out the jumpyness at 2k RPM. AFAIK it doesnt give and extra power though.
I've got a 4.5 and Id give it a go for you if you like? I was going to buy one but I'm going to save up for a proper remap instead.

I have the RR chip in my car (and just sold the spare one I had on ebay).
It makes the car smoother etc... In my car it makes it faster and better. It certainly feels like my car has more power with it.
I guess it depends on the particular base car that you start with - ie if the car is running well already then you will see an improvement in terms of driveability but you might not see a power increase (in fact you could see a power decrease).
The RR Chip is basically from TVR Power and is their attempt at a good map based on the best RR cars they have seen.

No problem Chris. How long can I hang onto it? The reason I ask is I've got a rolling road session booked for the 21st of december and it would be interesting to do a before and after run with this chip.

As I said, due to new business commitments, I won't be buying a TVR just yet, so you are welcome to keep it til the RR session.

That was the chip I was watching. You did well on that auction mate didnt it go for about the same as what you can buy one new for?
