The man for suspension setup in this part of the world is Darren @ MCTechnics in Stowmarket ... for tuning, you could trying Phil Seton @ Seton Tuning just outside Colchester.
Yep, Give Darren a call, ther guy is a genius. £75 for the basic set-up, and he'll talk you through exactly what he's doing and why.

Thirded. The Falco has an MC Technics setup and it's

The only things you acn set up in someone's workshop are static and dynamic preload & ride height, which essentially only allows you to tell if the sping is the correct weight for your body weight. In order to set the damping, this needs to be done on the move.
As an aside the idea of copying settings out of "Billy big spuds bikes weekly" (or perf bikes, or MCN, etc, etc) is quite frankly bollox and shows a bit of a lack of knowledge about what you're trying to acheive. Most manufacturers shocks are built to such poor tolerances that even if you line two blades (for example) next to each other and try and set them up with the same static settings they are likely to feel very different. I've had 1st hand experience of 3 'stock' ZX10s at Jerez a couple of years ago which were all the same as per the damper settings, but all felt vey different.
Why not lean hat you're doing and adjust the damping yourself? It's not too hard!

Thats all well and good doing it yourself but my bike has different forks from standard and an aftermarket rear shock and different rear tire width so is about as far from a standard bike as you are gonna get..
To put it bluntly, i havent got a clue where to start.. Methinks in my position some 'professional help' (with the bike lads..with the bike
) is the way to go.

Darren at MC Technics used to race a TL1000 some years ago so he should be able to sort you out no problems. He sorted my factory out pretty sweet!!
Total Traction in COlchester for Dyno / Power Commander setup or you could try HM Racing in Orpington Kent. They're just on the other side of the Dartford Tunnel. Pretty happy with the results by them on my Factory.
