Just picked up my car from Vauxhall (Scotland branch) after getting new bit between the gearbox and engine and found the wiper blades were torn. Where can I get new ones as my "Monaro specialist" didn't have such a thing! (suprise suprise!!). Said they could order me ones but as I'm not going near there for a while I asked if they could be sourced elsewhere. "No, they have to come from a Monaro specialist and we can't post them." yikes
They were serious I kid you not yes
Any suggestions?

Jeff.

Hi, jeff
i've just replaced my wipers with a pair from my local motor factors (partco) for £11.02 they are made buy champion and the part numbers are:

CMPSX55 (22"drivers side with aerofoil)
CMPX51 (20" passenger side)

they are also the same as my peugeot 306
hope this helps
Paul.

Whilst my machine was in Greens for its service I get a call. "Kev, the wiper blade is a bit dodgy, want it replaced"? "Yes OK".
Pick the beast up, blade done, £11.20 added to the total.

No fuss, Job done thumbup

Yeah, fortunately I find wiperblades pretty standard. They generally come in a couple of different forms. Got mine from Halfords for £7.99 or something for the two of them. Can't believe how expensive it is for two pieces of rubber!! Definitely in the wrong business that is for sure..

Was noticing the passenger side blade struggling to keep the glass clean (never noticed until the missus asked me to clean it laugh so a trip to the local Hal-frauds seems to be in order...
