Just a quick query, I have had my S6 Cerb for 5 months now and covered 4,500 miles, it had just been serviced when I purchased it and I had previously owned a Griff 500.

Despite checking the oil weekly it does not seem to be using any at all, I have followed the routine for the S6 engine, let it run until warm, check on level ground immediately after switching off and nothing. Am I doing this correctly? what experiences have others had. I am so used to spending a fortune on Mobil 1 for the Griff that this does not seem natural.

Cheers,

andyr

Probably doesn't help, but my Chimaera never needed topping up between services.

I had a 4.0 Chimp which used zero oil, a 5.0 Chimp which went through a litre every 1000 miles and a Cerbie S6 which also used zero oil.

Im glad its not just me then. For a while there I was worried. Its due an oil change now anyway. I was just naturally shocked at the lack of oil consumption following the Griff.

MY s6 Cerbie hasn't used any oil either. Garage says that the s6 engine does not consume oil like the V8's do.
