Friend of mine drove my Chimaera today and remarked how stiff the accelerator pedal was. He says he has driven several TVR's and they were very light and loose. Mind you he does drive a fly by wire Lambo Gaylordo
I must admit it does require some force to really floor it. Is a stiff one normal? Any thoughts gratefully received

They have about three springs from memory at the end of the linkage in the engine bay. I actually removed one of mine and it made a huge difference to the driveability and my wife can now push actually the pedal down rolleyes

No problem at all, a few people were concerned about having one less spring from a safety standpoint. What is the worst that can happen?? Thats what a clutch and a key are for

Who said TVRs don't have traction control? Just fit a bunch of heavy duty springs to the loud pedal to stop it going down too easily and, hey presto!! Damned safe cars, these TVRs!!
