After struggling with air in the system for a week or so now , I have found the cause a leaky radiator.
Has anybody offered an uprated radiator, as leaky rads seem to be an issue in this section ?
I have had the modified expansion tank fitted, but now the car is 3.5 years old and out of warranty and I just want the cooling problems finally resolving !

There is an aluminium radiator available that's supposed to be better than the standard one, but can't for the life of me find who stocks it! Fairly sure if you phoned TVR power, they would stock it. I believe it's made by Radtec.
There's one to fit the tuscan on Radtecs website, but not sure if this is the same one for the T350 etc.

Radtec are always at the Autosport show in Jan and offer the rads for that day only at trade price. I bought one for the Griff and saved shed loads.

I think the majority of radiator failures are because it is bolted to the car, then the body flexes, putting stress on the radiator/its joints. I'm sure a more flexible mounting would do more for preserving the longetivity than any more expensive materials.

when my rad went it looked more to be a problem with the materials used, the pinhole developed from the rear drivers side corner, where leaves etc pile up, after cleaning and removing seemed much worse in those corners than the rest, a better grade of material less likely to be affected by weather would have prevented it i think.

Agree construction quality of rad sometimes the cause; mine had a pinhole leak, with no damage evident, within 6mths of new. Been fine for 2yrs/16k miles since.... so presumably the replacement was of higher quality.

Leven are using Radtec radiators aren't they ?
Phoned Radtec yesterday, they haven't actually done a radiator for the T350 yet !
Although he had got one on his desk as we spoke so now has the pattern for them.
Need it fixing pronto so looks like an original equiped rad this time.
Anybody used Radweld as a temporary fix till it gets replaced ?

Dont use radweld as a temporary fix, it doesnt work, i tried it. what a mess it made of the rad pipes and inside of hoses etc, didnt even fix the leak.
