Hi all.
I've got a late 1983 mini sprite with servo brakes. Just last night the brake lights stopped working. Checked all fuses and bulbs no problem. As it was pitch black and without a torch I couldn't see to find the brake light switch. Where would i be looking for it? Qould it be an hydraulic or mechanical? and where abouts would I find an hydraulic and is it easy to get too? Is it an under the car job or from over the top?
Many thanks for all advice.
Tim.

its on a little bracket near the brake pedal.

its easy to knock the wires (two green ones) if you have large freaky feet ()

if the switch is knackered they are really cheap to buy!

Rich, ive told you million times not to exaggerate

Tim – it was only about a week had no brake lights for, and it was a case of ignorance is bliss. Until someone nearly ran in to the back of me at a roundabout, ahem.

When i took the bulbs out the lights had evidently stuck on as the bulbs where white and cracked from the heat ?! side lights still worked though.
