Does anyone know of an equivalent to adblocker (firefox) for MS Internet Explorer? Adblock does exactly what I need but I am not able to use Firefox in the office. I'm not talking about pop-up blocking; it's the 'in-line' and flash ads that I want to lose.

www.maxthon.com/ Might work, dunno if it'll live with IE7 thought.

AdAware Pro's add containment features combined with a custom HOSTS file and heavily tweaked Zone Alarm config can apparently deal with most ads.

I've yet to find something that is as simple as Adblock + Filterset.G on my quickie trundle around the net though.

Have you tried to run Firefox from a directory where you have write access to?
