Yes please, a boating forum yes

Topic to kick off - there are loads more £100k yachts around than £100k cars. If I parked a £100k car in the street (chance would be a fine thing) it would be secured with no end of immobilisers, trackers, locks, alarms. When I parked a £100k yacht the other day, we left it tied up to the town wall with just a few bits of string! Weird.

I recon if you parked your 100K car in exactly the same place it probably wouldn't get nicked.......

Be interesting trying to remember where you had parked it on the seabed.

This one is MUCH cheaper and can launch 4 cruise missiles!
Not much of a view outside though.

blurb on the page said:

Clearly, the 65m Submarine provides its owner with substantially more capability than a simple yacht - the opportunity to explore the depths of the world's oceans in perfect comfort and safety. The 65m Submarine is capable of making trans-Atlantic crossings at 16 knots yet can dive along the route and explore the continental margins of some of the most fascinating waters on earth.

Yet it can only dive to 300m (yes I know "only", like the same depth as military Subs of the 1960's) but the oceans are a lot deeper than that and darker, the diving windows will only be good for crystal clear shallower waters.

Plus after seeing K19 last night diving to 300m I wouldn't want to trust those very big picture windows at that depth, unless of course Commander Montgomery Scott come back from the Future and given the instructions for transparent aluminium away.
