Hi there Steve

I've got one as well , Rosso red with grey interior. There was a silver 450 in the SEAC special edition of Sprint magazine - registered "450 TVR" I think. Mind you that was a few years ago now.

I take it your deal on the blue one on wedge pages fell through? A rare machine for sure, good luck with your search.

thanks you guys, got afew more to add to the list.
never got to see the blue car, left lots of messages on his phone, wife talked to him once and he didnt seem keen on getting it out of storage, so i left a message for him to ring when it would be convenient.
not long after his advert was removed, guess he decided to keep it.

Hi,
Sorry to drop in late.
I had dialogue with a chap wrt his 450SEAC last spring when I was after a big Wedge (It was when thr BRG one was still at £18,500!! which dropped!!). I think it was H or J 5 EAC with a roll bar. The chap was in Kent and talking circa £14,500 at the time. He was in no hurry so may still have the car. It was in Jan or Feb (ish) Sprint 2002.
Good Luck!

The last time i saw J5 EAC it lived in Devon with its new owner about a year to 18 months ago doesn't have a roll bar though,.
But H5 EAC is a blue one with a roll bar, the owner is a customer of mine called Jim, I'll ask him if its still for sale, but i'm sure he decided to keep it.

You may or may not have noticed the similarity between F956 HEO and my SEAC. They are the same car! It had a personalised numberplate at some point in its life, hence the change.

My SEAC was bought through Houghins, EO is the Barrow-in-Furness registration suffix.

Hi (Steve)..Stainless..Just wondering if you still browse around the ol wedge forum? smile

I've been having a good read of past threads, and noticed that you came close to buying the 450 SEAC that i now own.. Lee Hodgkins old car.
As far as i can tell, and subsequently found out, the car was involved in quite a bun fight with a garage re: damage/money/ownership.
In fact it's safe to say that it may not have survived if Steve Richardson (who owned her before me) hadn't got involved and purchased her!

Small world this wedge one, especially with SEAC's.

Hope all is well with you matey.

biggrin

What did you replace the silver 450 with in the end? I remember rumours of the 660 SEAC or maybe an ultima?

I'm still around Waynewaveydon't post much sites not what it use to be,sure i posted when you bought your SEAC.
660,will own it oneday, think it will take a while yet though.
Ultima, looked into it but didn't like how long the AS engines lasts, would have to be LS7.
I will get something for next summer, like the idea of a Tuscan LS7,see what turns up.

Sorry Steve, i did notice your post when i got the car, cheers. yes

I'm still blown away by the fact i have finally got a 450 SEAC!
It's currently with Barnet TVR centre as it needs a service and a few niggles sorted, and it also had a fairly recent £6000 engine re-build, so wanted it checked over more carefully! yikes

I have to admit, it was your '88 show car that made me more determined than ever to get one myself!
Well happy to have achieved an ambition with this car - love it!

Look forward to seeing/hearing whatever 'beast' you end up with.

Enyoy the SEAC,fantastic car,one of the best colours too.
Tim did some work on your car,is the CF plenum still on?
I would still have my old car if i hadn't spent along time finding the 660,but i got it into my head i wanted a 580+ bhp car.Don't know what the hell to buy now, like the sag but will see what happens to TVR next year.
