My first experince of BMW customer service for a few years has left me very happy indeed.

Thanks to DasChin, who recommended them, I took the CSL to Synters in High Wycombe for it's inspection and they've excelled themselves IMO.

I'm picking the car up tomorrow after the following work has been done:

New clutch eek
New gearbox Software
New xenon and control unit
New RTAB and geometry check
New Potentiometer
New Lambda sensor
New front discs eek

ALL of which was quibble free and covered by warranty so I simply have to pay for the inspection!!!

I can't wait to get it back - so if you see a SG CSL in Bucks tomorrow going buck wild - give us a wave!

What was the reason for the brake discs being changed under warranty? Usually a dealer will claim these are a "wear and tear" item if you have any problems.

They didn't say. I'd asked them to look at them as they were juddering slightly and I thought they were maybe warped....was quite suprised they didn't even quibble it.
