Retro fitted a startac system to my 99 XKR. I have one issue that once the phone is connected the display on the radio shows "phone" then switches to "handset". This means that the handsfree operation will not work. I cannot seem to get this message to change.
I have swopped out the pse unit, as I have been told that there were issues here, this did not change things.
Before I go and buy another handset I wanted to ask if anyone had:
1) any ideas how to switch the display to "phone" - maybe a setting on the Startac 130 needs to be engaged to make it hands free?, or
2) does anyone live near Surbiton, with a startac system, that I could come and see if my phone works in there system - as I understand that the connection maybe the fault in my phone.
The phone does have the Jaguar software installed.
