The only Z rated fronts (which my insurers insisted I had) I could find for my chim (same size as yours) were Dunlop SP9000.
I'm surprised you found any SO2s to be honest as they've been like hen's teeth for a few years now.

Very lucky, Brand new, found em on ebay, mis listed
So are these SP9000 any good ??

only had them on for about 300 miles but so far no problems at all - better in the wet than the SO3's they replaced

Badred, you bugger, I had put them on my watchlist....:-)
How were they mislisted? It looked ok to me.
You going next sunday then????
Hmmm
Yes Ant we hope to go on sunday meeting Gandalf and a few others at Hopwood to go down M40 how about you ?? Sorry about the ebay thing I bought em in a bit of a panic, cant get a pair to match the front so I may stick em back on ebay and buy a set of 4 9000s or pilots. mis listed ?? I think they would get more attention if listed under TVR.
checked date FFG and it aint a problem.

I'll have em off you please matey if the dates are OK.
They were on my watch list too, was concerned over the guys lack of feedback as I,ve been burnt before by nil / low rated eBayers. I e-mailed him for a cash collection and heard nothing so decided to do nothing.
Please give me a call (PM e-mailed no.)
Cheers

Sounds expensive. Try www.mytyres.co.uk and bank on £10-£12 for fitting.

Darren,
SP9000's are fine. Check the date on the SO2's as tyres have a 5 ish year life, after which you should replace. If anyone wants originality then your risking your life for the priviledge.

Really?? My fronts are SO2s and I have a suspicion they are 8 years old. Is that true about the five year thingy?
