Every time a friend of mine switches on his PC, the mouse and keyboard do not work and he has to restart the computer, then they work. Any ideas?? confused

I had it happen once but can't remember how I fixed it. They are PS2 devices and the conmputer has just recovered from a blown power supply.

Yep, turn Legacy mode on in the BIOS. Sometimes it's called simply "USB Keyboard Support" and other times it's this long convoluted thing... gits, but just enable anything marked "USB" in the Advanced section of the BIOS and your bound to hit it.
