Fire fox, problems downloading pics or movies etc..

[dugless]

When I right click on an image and select 'save image as ' , or on a movie ' save file as ' , the save to window pops up asking where I want it saved to..

Then the bl**dy thing dissapears completely ! , its not in the download window, and doesnt get saved to hard drive..I've tried to save into different locations etc with no success.

When I use IE thats normal, saves no problems..its just firefox..I have installed and updated firefox and looked through the settings and can't find anything..

Surely there must be a brainbox out there that can help !!!

cheers

If you are using Firefox 2.0 I would suggest going to tools and then options and check what is set for downloads.

If that yields no results then I would use the trusty uninstall -> re-install method.
